“River, trees, cloud, sky”,
Had a tutorial with Damien Roach. He sort of showed me that art works arent ever complete even if their in the space, and that things dont have to be so inward. it can involve alot of different things and still remain simple. Went to his artist talk and he did it about the interconnectedness of things. which is was I like. sitting in front of google typing words whcih relateded to each other to make my mind map etc. Its about working out how I want to present this. Like a talk? or what? my observations. like a lecutre. James has said it beofre but I dont think I was ready to concider it. Or maybe I should think about it for when I get out of uni. How would the process work? I guess my observations all come out when i sit here and do the research folder like with the ringtone observations etc.
Starts with alot of writing.
Alot of students hated his talk, I wonder why, They were all slagging him off at the end but I thought it was amazing. i loved the way he dressed in all black as well. Its like he's just plain. I really really really loved that. His age and the way he spoke interested me. He seemed quite young and intense whereas charles, james, tanya have a different level of maturity about them....like they can understand what to take out of my babble. Not that he didnt. it was just on the same kkind of level. is that age? or topic? are we just a similar kind of art so he gets it more?

He also does this cross over art like Mike Kelly does. inviting musicians, performers etc to the space. maybe he doesnt make the music but its these cross overs. i am interested in that very much so.
