Ummm,......it was pretty cool. Would of been an idiot not to go when its such a monumental box seller. Oliver said its good to go even if its just for the pure spectacle of it, and its the first time ive understood what the spectacle of something meant and now im cpolletely interested in the subject. i realise i dont have time to research it and make work about it before degree show but im going to start photocopy bits about it to read when i leave. also i want to know what the baroque period means...I have no idea but I heard withers talking to kasia something about baroque and then the spectacle do im guessing their connected somehow.....
it was truely beautiful though...like i really admire his drive to go furthwer and make the machines he needed to make this amazing. It gets everybody excited. it was like pocahontas tho. but bloddy amazing. I see everything cultureal as part of my pracitce....Im not just writing about my going to the cinema....i want to critically engage with how peeple experience escapism...do i need to go without taking part then? because at the moment Im not watching the watchers....im being the watchers. when i was at the ballet I began listening to peoples coughs rather the ballet (shit ballet). watch the watchers.....
